Interior Designer Training
With Live Site Practical and Demo
Bridge the Gap Between Software Drafting & Ground Reality
Most interior design courses teach students how to draw floor plans on a screen but never teach them what happens when carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters arrive on site. An interior designer who cannot read a site, coordinate with contractors, check false ceiling drops, or calculate real material quantities cannot deliver profitable projects.
Our program integrates classroom computer labs with active construction site practicals across residential apartments, commercial retail spaces, and modular kitchen installations. You will step onto active project sites, observe civil work, inspect material deliveries, and learn how to present, price, and pitch turnkey projects to paying clients.
Comprehensive 6-Module Curriculum
Module 1: Space Planning, Ergonomics & Vastu Architecture
Human dimension ergonomics, clearance zones, residential space planning (living rooms, master suites, kid rooms), modular kitchen workflows (work triangle), commercial office planning, and practical Vastu compliance principles.
Module 2: 2D Architectural Drafting with AutoCAD
Mastering industry CAD standards, layer management, demolition plans, masonry layouts, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), lighting circuits, electrical switchboard scheduling, plumbing inlets/outlets, and joinery details.
Module 3: 3D Architectural Modeling & V-Ray Photorealistic Rendering
Building 3D spaces in SketchUp from 2D CAD imports, modeling custom wardrobes, TV units & paneling, applying realistic textures, V-Ray physical cameras, natural sunlight simulations, and producing photorealistic client presentation renders.
Module 4: Live On-Site Practicals & Construction Execution Demos
Direct site visits to ongoing projects. Learn civil plastering checks, false ceiling gypsum framework, electrical conduit placement, tile/marble dry-laying, waterproofing testing, and carpentry assembly demos on site.
Module 5: Materials Science, Finishes & Vendor Trade Management
Plywood grades (Commercial, BWR, Marine BWP), laminates, veneers, acrylic, PU polish, quartz countertops, Italian marble selection, modular kitchen hardware (soft-close hinges, tandem drawers), and vendor market sourcing visits.
Module 6: BOQ Estimation, Budget Costing & Client Pitching
Creating professional Bill of Quantities (BOQ), itemized contractor rate analysis, material square-foot costing, client proposal decks, scope of work contracts, and building a showcase design portfolio.
